Graduation

Nov 26, 2005 - Graduation for Paris Graduate School of Management MBA

Finally, the long awaited ceremony is here. I think Vans is more excited than I am. We reached at 2:30pm, just in time for the registration. Got my robe and stuff, had to put them on top of my shirt and jacket, man it was hot. But its one of those things that you don't have many opportunity to do in life so I was glad. Initially I thought the payment made earlier will cover the potrait photography too, but I was wrong. So I paid up and had my photo taken with my family and Vans, I'm sure mum will be proud to hang this at home :)

The whole ceremony was a brief but meaningful one. Seeing my "classmates" and I graduate showed that all our hardwork and determination did not go to waste. Although there were times when we did not always agree with each other or the lecturer, all those were behind us now. Being recognised for this achievement with Vans and my parents around meant a lot to me. I have to thank them for their support throughout the course. And the event was graced by the Dean coming all the way from Paris, and also a Deputy Minister!

After the ceremony, we sent dad and mum home and met Chia Yun in Times Square for dinner. She was here for the weekend to attend some meetings. Had a great chat in Kenny Rogers, and walked around aimlessly in Bintang Walk till we end up in Starhill, snapped a couple of photos there and we sent her back to her hotel.
All in, it was a great day, full of meaning and fun. Now its all about looking forward to the Hong Kong trip in December.
