Pre-wedding Photography

Its been a while since we updated the blog. We had to make sure everything in the new house was in-order before we handed off the final payment, then had to repaint some parts of the house ourselves. I haven't painted anything since I last helped Raymond Boo paint his house about 10 years ago so we were messing around most of the time :) But its almost done. The only part left is the plaster ceiling, which still looks patchy. It is the most difficult place to paint... well, we're targeting to finish it within the month, if possible.

We had our pre-wedding photography booked since November last year, and I could see that Vans was very excited coming into the week and she took 2 days off to prepare herself, going for facials, manicure and pedicure, etc, etc...
When the day finally came, we didn't know what to expect, except that it will take quite a while to complete those 90 shots we were promised. Boy, it was difficult to look natural and smile all day. All we kept hearing was "don't look so fake, be natural", and when we tried to be natural, they'd say "Smile, don't be so tense!" Man, I was like, what am I suppose to do? Be natural, or smile?

By the end of the day, both of us have experienced countless cramps on our cheeks due to constant retraction of the cheek muscles trying to muster enough "smile" to look "natural". I, for one am not a person that like to have my photo taken, so I was a big struggle. Nevertheless I am sure Vans photo will turn out great, she's quite a natural.
Well, we don't have any photos from the shoot to show, but we do have these 2 crazy photos to share =)
